Belgravia in bloom is an alternative to the RHS Chelsea Flower Show. To mark HM The Queen 90th birthday many restaurants, boutiques and studios in Belgravia commissioned floral arrangements to flower up their windows. One of the shop participating in Belgravia in bloom was Beulah London. We worked with Beulah a couple of times before, so when Natasha propose another joint project we simply couldn’t say no! We asked Paula Pryke, a renowned London-based florist and author of many books, including “Wedding Flowers“, for some floral expertise and she designed a very creative floral arrangement. Paula decided to combine deep green needles with tree trunk and thousand of Sweet Avalanche, Pearl Avalanche and Avalanche roses. Dark green background made the large heads of our roses pop. And we simply adore how the designs starts in the shop, goes through the window and finishes in the front yard. It makes us think of “Alice through the looking glass”. And who knows, maybe Lewis Carol’s classic was Paula’s inspiration?
London in May transforms to a floral capital and Belgravia in bloom is an event truly worth seeing!
