I have invested lots of time and effort and trained to the very highest level of floristry available in the UK achieving BA (honours) in Professional Floristry. I feel very passionate that floristry should not only be about the design of flowers but the professional service I offer which includes how the flowers are selected and treated, I have studied in depth the horticulture side of floristry in particular plant science and pre/post – harvest methods of flowers. I feel this gives me a better understanding of flowers and their behaviour under certain conditions, and how to make sure the designs I produce are the best quality possible. This is why I use Meijer roses, I have complete confidence in the research they put into the roses available and their growing and packaging methods.
